Australian Ground Sprayers Association

The Australian Groundsprayers Association has established a new autonomous division to initiate a voluntary, industry led National Stewardship Programme designed to minimise the damage caused by pesticide application.

The AGA is a Not for Profit No Liability Company that is structured to represent the states that have groundspraying organisations in matters that are of national concern. 

While it is expected that the states will look after their own interests in state matters, AGA can still be involved, if required, or if the matter is of national significance.

The AGA was started at a meeting in Sydney in 2002.  At the time all the states (excluding territories) had their own incorporated bodies.  NSW and Queensland were functioning as one body.  Queensland and WA have since dropped off through lack of interest within their states.
